Dodie Eisenhauer is one of the charter members of Best of Missouri Hands. She began as a folk painter over 30 years ago, but her inspiration to work with wire mesh came in 1989 while attempting to restore an old screen door. In Dodies hands, stiff metal wire transforms into graceful angels, blooming roses and more. Her designs may start in rural Missouri, but they have been sold throughout the U.S. and Canada by small gift boutiques and in large Fifth Avenue department stores. The complete line of Village Designs creations encompasses all seasons and occasions. Her baskets, bows and wreaths can be purchased with wire and ribbon decoration or plain to serve as a base for the work of other artists and floral designers. Dodie has found that the possibilities are nearly endless when working with wire. She welcomes custom orders and can even incorporate logos into some pieces for the corporate gift and tourist markets. Call or email to request a full color catalog and visit www.villagedesigns.com for more information about Dodie and her work. Village Designs
