Martha Aldridge - sculpture in bronze and ceramics

Lefty by Martha Aldridge, sculptor

Martha Aldridge, a long time resident of Clinton, Missouri and graduate of Central Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in Art Education, taught art in the public schools for over 30 years. A painter and self-taught wood carver for many years, sculpting in clay was a natural progression. She has been in numerous competitions and has completed several commissions.

Grandchildren often being her models and her love for horses give her the subject matter she most enjoys. Children, being great reminders of our childhood memories, Martha tries to capture the present as well as the past in her creations.

She is a member of Mid-Missouri Artists, the Best of Missouri Hands, and the Kansas City Artists Coalition.
