Marilyn Milovich Photography

Marilyn has been a landscape and nature photographer since 1995. Her enjoyment of outdoor activities such as hiking, scuba diving, and sea kayaking led to her interest in landscape and nature photography. She has traveled extensively throughout North America, Asia, Central America, and South America and enjoys experiencing new cultures. Capturing images that reflect the beauty and uniqueness of nature is something that she strives to accomplish.

She views potential subjects from different angles to explore various composition possibilities, while also evaluating the elements of light and how they will affect the final image. Marilyn especially enjoys sunset photography and black & white photography. She tends to be drawn to scenes with natural backlighting and strong contrasting elements, and uses a 35mm camera with either color slide transparencies or black & white film to create all her photographic images.

Marilyn has been showing and selling her fine art prints in Saline County, Cooper County, and in the Columbia Art League's (CAL) Community Exhibits. She was one of fourteen women artists invited to exhibit their artwork at the 2004 Women in Tune Festival, with proceeds benefiting the Missouri Symphony and the American Cancer Association.
