After completing school in art, I moved to the desert southwest. Family brought me back to the midwest in 2002 where I discovered the true beauty of the Missouri hills.

As a lover of nature and a native to the "oceans of dirt" of the midwest, my connection to Mother Earth draws my eye to vast expanses. These paintings are artistic impressions of my relationship with the land. My paintings are impressions of the interplay of light experienced through expansive landscapes. My current work abstracts the land through its treatment of shadows and lush color contrasts.
