Decorative & functional stoneware pottery

Erin creates unique stoneware pottery, specializing in original wild flower design brushwork on an eggshell colored clay body. Her collection includes a complete line of oven and table ware, a variety of decorative, functional oil lamps and, for the garden enthusiast, flower pots, planters and bird feeders. Each piece is wheel-thrown or hand-built by the artist. This high-fire stoneware is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe and the glazes are lead free.

Since completing her ceramics study in North Carolina in1981, Erin has maintained a working studio, selling her work through arts and craft shows and wholesale accounts. Recently, she and her husband established the Great River Road Pottery Shop in historic Clarksville, Missouri. This quaint Mississippi River town is dedicated to preserving the past while offering artists the opportunity to work and prosper in restored buildings amidst an atmosphere of creative energy.

You are invited to visit Erin in her working studio and gallery overlooking the river in downtown Clarksville. Shop hours are 10 to 5 Wednesday through Saturday, 11 to 5 Sunday and by appointment Monday and Tuesday. Call 573-242-3000. Plan to visit the many artists’ studios and antique shops while in historic Clarksville.
