Creative Dimensions by Nancee J. Byington

Agent for Artistic Experiences' Statement
My relationship to creating the work:Revealing my heart…my frailties, dreams and yearnings…is a lifelong quest. It's all about JOY. Sometimes it's the color or mood. Sometimes it's the beauty of what I see. Sometimes it's the boldness of free spirit. Sometimes it's capturing a touch and feel of the visual. Sometimes it's the scent of flowers or great food. And, in everything I do, I yearn for others to see me…the experiences of my life and my own heart..where I've been, what I've done and what I've seen - so I can link with others and find something new as a work of art.

BIOGRAPHY
Nancee J. Byington, CMP, is a designer and independent consultant…creatively designing business and marketing solutions, meetings & events, major corporate & community projects, business strategic plans and interior design services. Work experience includes multi-year human resources and marketing experience working with executives in Fortune 100-500 companies including Monsanto Company. She now is president of her own corporation, Creative Dimensions, Inc.

In 2003, she expanded her business into a new artistic area for original, custom and commissionable art, called ELEGANT FLAIR Custom Artwork Gallery.

Mrs. Byington earned a B.S. degree in Business and Marketing, accreditation as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), and has been recognized by Maryville University in 1996 with their Citation Award for outstanding professional achievement and community service. She served on the university's Century II Society board and is a member of its Mouton Society. Multiple studies - Meeting Professionals International 1990-2004.

Artistically, she studied 12 years of violin at Webster University in St. Louis and was featured on Ted Mack's Amateur Hour. After a 40-year absence, she returned to playing violin in the Lake Area Community Orchestra in January, 2003. Nancee studied oil painting for 3 years from a Masters art graduate of Washington University. During that period, she painted for personal use or gifts to family or friends, with no interest in profiting from their sale. After the untimely death of her instructor and a busy professional career, she discontinued painting for approximately 30 years.

Several part-time interior design businesses retained her flair for color and art. In 2000-2002 she painted mural graphics on boat dock sunscreens and 19 soundboards for a local church. She returned to her oil paintings in the fall of 2003 - this time with a willingness to offer paintings for sale, or customizing or commissioning to clients' interests. This exciting part of her Creative Dimensions business is called ELEGANT FLAIR CUSTOM ARTWORK GALLERY.

She is a member of National Oil & Acrylic Painters' Society, Ozark Brush & Palette (Blue Ribbon winner & membership chair), Best of Missouri Hands, Lake Arts Council, Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies, Lake Area Community Orchestra, Lake Area Strings, Art Saint Louis and was recently elected to the board of the Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitors Bureau..
