Weaving has been a part of my life for the past 36 years. I first studied art at The Des Moines Center for the Arts. I was primarily a painter. I loved color and shapes; I drew and sketched, then painted everything I saw. I loved still life and doing outdoor series. I now utilize those skills to crate one of a kind art clothing either through hand-woven or felt process. I have studied with artists both internationally and U.S. Learning and reapplying techniques into my own designs and creations. I am fascinated and passionate about threads and their infinite possibilities. Having retired five years ago from an executive position in telecommunications, I have retired with my husband at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, and dedicate full time to weaving and felting.
My mission is to create art clothing that is inspirational and pleasurable to the owner. Art adding comfort and beauty that comes alive when it is worn. Functional hand-weaving for the home that is durable, esthetically pleasing and adding both a pleasurable and comforting experience in the home. Comforts of Home
