I feel that creating art is a way to show the abundance of beautiful gifts
given to us by God.
Education:
Cheryl’s education in art began in school, and continued with artists, such as: Siegfried Hahn & Howard Wexler, highly respected artists who taught
drawing, using the Principles of Lecoq De Boisbaudran, the study of color theory, watercolor, and oil, using Maroger medium. Ann DeRosier, national, Maggie Price, and Albert Handell, international Pastel instructors.
Painting Style:
Her mediums include watercolor, pen & ink, oil, pastel, and mixed media. She likes to work plein air (out doors) and from life in her studio. A camera is always with her capturing the scene on film for inspiration. She does landscapes, still life, portrait, and figure paintings.
