Painting is a magical process that enables me to find and isolate special areas of beauty for continued enjoyment.

Painting three-dimensional subjects on flat surfaces is challenging. I constantly think about transforming the flat surface into deeper dimensions. I want my paintings to draw me through space.

I have a strong love for nature. I am intrigued by mankind's constant pressure on natural beauty, and nature's power to convert man's creations back to their natural forms.

In addition to numerous local exhibits, my paintings were displayed in France, Italy, and Taiwan. During 2006, I was juried into four art fairs: Tilles Arts and Crafts Festival, Festival of Fine Arts at Westport, Plaza Art Outside Fair, and Riverfest.
