Carolyn Coffey Wallace "Art opens my mind to new possibilities" Painting, Pottery , Calligraphy, Ink, Mosaic, Murals, Computer Art, Illustration, Drawing, Free-lance, Commercial Art, Basket-weaving, Stained glass, Caricatures, you name it, Carolyn may try it! This artist has worked in many art forms and mediums partly because of over 28 years of experience teaching high school art. "Teaching has been a demanding but rewarding experience. My students continue to inspire me to be innovative and creative. Most of all we have a good time." Her personal emphasis has gradually moved toward watercolor and pottery, both wheel and hand-built forms. The idea that our lives are made up of many threads of contact with people, time, and place, and the scientific concept of String theory has led her to pursue the theme of overlapped and interlaced elements in recent artworks. Carolyn's studio is in Ava, where she lives with her husband John, and their three children, Lydia, Kyle, and Andrew. Carolyn Coffey Wallace
